Ibis Styles
I did creative workshops for the Ibis Styles Warszawa Centrum hotel. For the event I prepared a large one illustrating life near the river. The illustration has 3 parts: the first part – yellow – is the urban hustle and bustle, the second part – the green – is relaxation and rest on the river, and the third part – the blue – is a corporate way to spend time near the river. Hotel Ibis Styles connect interior and history with river motifs and this determined the topic of work.
The workshops themselves consisted in the fact that the participants used the prepared sheets with my illustration and used them as a cutout, from which they drew numerous elements and created their own compositions. On specially prepared wooden boards – they glued and put together their own works. which they took home to hang them on the walls thanks to specially prepared hangers on boards.
During the workshops, participants used illustrations as a cutout. They created compositions out of cut elements. They arranged their own works on special wooden boards. They took the work home, and hung the walls on specially prepared hangers.
